This week I have painted the 8 Orcs. I used a green ink wash on the skin, the same as the Goblins. I used Quick Shade on the clothes which is really effective I think but limits the colours you can use because of the brown shade.
Next week I will paint the Fimir.
That's some pretty sharp painting. You should be very pleased with the result, I think!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, well done.
ReplyDeleteWell done! Great job on those.
ReplyDeleteGood work, really clean paint job.
ReplyDeleteGreat work. I wish this had been an option when I did my DofE!
ReplyDeleteAnother fine set of monsters. I particularly like the way you have done the bases; very effective!
ReplyDeleteNice stuff - really like the basing
ReplyDeleteDude, you are a machine!! Lovely clean painting style, wish I had your skill at your age.
ReplyDeleteQuality work, really like the crisp bright colour choice, fits the overall aesthetic of Heroquest perfectly. Can't wait to see some pics of the whole finished set. (I'd have been around your age when Heroquest first came out, good times!)
ReplyDeleteNice work! Go on - i like it! :)
ReplyDeleteNice crisp paintjob, send them straight into the dungeon :)
ReplyDeleteOnly just noticed this over on FaceBook. Very nice work. I like your color selections. I like your consistency and your brushwork. You've done a nice job. And as previous commenters have said elsewhere, the bases came out nicely and unify everything well. Well done.
